2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet

2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet

The 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet (991) is a very good performance car. The open top version of the rear-engined sports car is one of the best open air cars that you can currently buy. The 400 horsepower car is capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds (with PDK and 4.5 with the manual transmission). The car is one that can be driven everyday, but that has plenty of performance when you step a bit harder on the gas pedal.

This video contains a review of the car and features a road test. Beyond the road test it shows just how practical the small car can be for carrying cargo. While there isn’t a lot of space and you won’t carry the family in it, there is plenty of room for you and your significant other to use it for a weekend trip.

The video goes over the good and bad of the car and then gives a verdict on if it is a good buy. There isn’t a lot not to like with this car, the biggest barrier for most people is just the cost of the car. The one tested cost about $140,000 after all the options were added (although some of them I would skip, like the $5,000 stereo system).

Watch the video and then let us know what you think of the new 991 Carrera S Cabriolet in the comments below.

Good review, thanks. Love the way you saddled the drivers seat. And yes, we guys are obsessed with “stiffness” ;- )
