Chris Harris's Custom Porsche 911

Chris Harris’s Custom Porsche 911

Back in early 2008 Chris Harris finished building his perfect Porsche 911. Then to help make ends meet he sold it just a few weeks later.

This custom 911 looks like a classic 1971 911 ST, but under the skin the chassis and engine are very much upgraded. In the rear is an air-cooled 3.4-liter flat-six that is near perfect.

This video features Chris talking about the build. He talks about the rally ready machine and how it was built inside and out.

The short footage also shows the rear-engined sports car being driven on some nice back roads. The green machine is nearly perfect and has many similar concepts to the later Singer 911.
