Porsche 919 Hybrid
We all know that the Porsche 919 Hybrid is a very fast car that hopes to take down Audi at Le Mans this year. But just how fast does it look in person?

To get the answer we could have gone to someone like Mark Webber or Patrick Long, but a racing driver can become somewhat numb to speed. Because of this we looked for a person that has seen enough race cars to be able to gauge what is actually fast on the track, but not a full time driver.
We found the opinion of Carlin Sanderson. She is part of public relations for teams and drivers in United Sportscar Racing, Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and Perelli World Challenge. So, she knows a thing or two about race cars.
About the Porsche’s performance she said the below via Twitter talking about the World Endurance Championship race at Silverstone.
Carlin Sanderson: The 919’s straight line speed is absurd. Incredible LMP1 battle. #6hSilverstone
There you have it, when the Porsche 919 gets a straight it is absurd just how fast it is. We also know it is no slouch in the corners, but in a straight line is where it is most notable.
What is the fastest race car that you’ve seen?
