Porsche Singer 911

Porsche Singer 911

The Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer will be on display at the Pinehurst Concours. The car show in North Carolina will be the first to display the special and very rare vehicle.

The Singer 911 has classic styling that gives it a great ’60s vibe. Although it looks classic it drives like a much more modern sports car.

The special 911 starts as a type 964 which gives it a more modern drive. From there an air-cooled 3.8-liter flat-six powers the machine with a very good 350 horsepower output. When you consider that the 911 doesn’t weigh all that much by today’s standards, it makes it quite the quick machine.

Beyond the more powerful engine the Singer has bigger brakes and a KW suspension for better handling when the road gets twisty. What really makes the car so special is the build quality.

Where others would just have fiberglass body panels, Singer Vehicle Design (SVD) uses carbon-fiber and high quality leather. This is also part of the reason that the price of admission is over the $300,000 range.

The Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer will be on display on May 2nd at the Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance.
