Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has three cars that managed to lead their segments in this year’s J.D. Powers APEAL Study. The three cars that came out on top in their categories are the Dodge Challenger, Charger and Fiat 500.
The APEAL Study is in its 20th year and it measures how gratifying a new vehicle is to own and to drive. The scoring is based on 77 attributes that are rated by customers. The owners are surveyed 90 days after they purchase the vehicle and this coincides with J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study.
For the Dodge Charger and Challenger, this isn’t their first rodeo. The Charger has lead the Large Car segment for five consecutive years and the Challenger has ranked highest in Midsize Sporty Car segment for the fourth time in five years.
“We’re proud to receive three APEAL awards in back-to-back years as customers continue to recognize that we’re delivering exciting and appealing vehicles which meet their needs,” said Matt Liddane, Vice President – Quality, FCA-North America. “An owner’s positive experience with our vehicles, whether that’s with a Dodge Challenger or a Fiat 500, is a true testament to our steadfast commitment to the highest level of quality across our vehicle lineup.”
