Donald Trump

Donald Trump

Unless you’ve been under a rock you know that Donald Trump is running for President of the United States of America. The former host of the Apprentice is a very polarizing figure. Most people either love him or hate him (on a total side note, not sure if he would make a good President, but he would be entertaining to watch fire people in his Cabinet whenever things went wrong).

Now this isn’t a political site by any stretch of the imagination, but we thought it would be interesting to see what types of cars the billionaire owns. Having said that if he wants to give us any vehicles in his collection he would probably get our vote (notice the word probably as I wouldn’t want that to sound like he would be buying votes).

Rolls-Royce

When you are as successful as Mr. Trump you often have a chauffeur drive you around (that is when you aren’t on your private jet). Some of the best cars ever made for this are from Rolls-Royce.

Donald Trump has long been a fan of the handmade English automobile that calls itself the best car in the world. As far as luxury goes, it doesn’t get much better. Plus you have to love a car that in the past listed its horsepower as adequate.

Lamborghini Diablo

Trump doesn’t only have extreme luxury cars, he also has a few high performance machines. One of these is his 1997 Lamborghini Diablo in Electric Blue.

The ’90s Italian mid-engined supercar has a 5.7-liter V12 that offers 512 horsepower (a huge number in ’97). It has a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 207 mph. Those figures aren’t too bad today, so it definitely has the performance and power that a mover and shaker would want.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Sure Mr. Trump may have a Lamborghini, but we don’t see him driving it much as it is a manual car. Now the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren would seem to be more his style. It is a powerful car, but more of a GT cruiser that can eat up miles effortlessly.

We don’t know the exact year of his SLR McLaren, but we do know that it is a mid-2000’s car. It should have a 5.4-liter V8 that puts out 617 mph which gives it a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 207 mph (yes the specs are the same as the Diablo).

Conclusion

Donald Trump has some very nice automobiles is his garage. He doesn’t drive very often as he is usually flying or having a chauffeur drive him wherever he needs to go. If he does end up winning the Presidency he won’t be driving his supercars at all for a while.

Seems like a problem that we could help him with. So, if you are reading this Mr. Trump, we would be happy to take those cars off your hands and keep then from getting lot rot when and if you win.

Who cares?!? Anyone who saw Trump eat pizza with a fork on The Daily Show know he’s ass, and, therefore is probably an ass when it comes to cars, too. Looking at this list–he’s also a completely boring and predictable. Cliches like his toupe.

Here is some insight on what he is driven in

Shortly after 9 a.m. Monday, Donald Trump arrived at Manhattan Supreme Court for jury duty in a black Lincoln stretch limousine.

After the Republican presidential candidate went into the courthouse at 60 Centre St., his driver, Eddie Diaz, took a few moments to talk about what it’s like to drive The Donald.

Diaz has been driving Trump since 2000, and the the real estate mogul also has another New York City-based limo driver. Asked in a general sense what the job is like, Diaz told Newsweek it’s “interesting.”

He said the best times to drive Trump have been during the 2016 presidential campaign and while The Apprentice was running.

“It’s fun, you know, busy, just busy,” Diaz said of his time around The Apprentice. “Cameras, pictures, autographs—you name it.”

He said Trump is friendly to him: Though the candidate and business executive is often on calls in the car, the two chat sometimes on a wide variety of topics, including sports, current events and what’s going on with Trump.

“He’s a great boss,” Diaz said, calling him a “down to earth guy”

They eat together regularly. Asked whether Trump buys, a smiling Diaz said: “Once in a while.”

Diaz, who said he will “absolutely” vote for Trump, said the most interesting thing about the campaign so far is that his boss is No. 1 in the polls, “all the polls.”

“He keeps going higher and higher every week so, we’ll see what happens.”

Would he drive for Trump if the Republican is elected president?

“Oh yeah, for sure, for sure, so I hope he takes me when he goes,” Diaz said, immediately emphasizing: “When he wins, not if he wins. When he wins.”

He also said Trump always uses American cars, never foreign, as it’s “not allowed.”
