Sir Jackie Stewart

Sir Jackie Stewart

Sir Jackie Stewart is simply put a racing legend. Beyond other competition success, in 1969, 1971 and 1973 he won the Formula 1 Championship. Mr. Stewart would go on to further gain popularity in the U.S. as he was a TV motor racing analyst until 1986.

He will be at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion as historic race cars and legendary drivers come together (the event will also feature celebrities, such as our friend Adam Carolla). Plus, if you attend this year’s event you could have lunch with Jackie Stewart.

So, just how can you eat lunch with Mr. Stewart? He was named the special guest at the annual Picnic in the Park. While attendees enjoy the lunches that they bring they will also hear stories from Jackie as well as Scott Pruett.

The lunch starts at 12:30 PM PST on August 15th at Laguna Seca, the track where Mr. Stewart made his U.S racing debut driving a Lotus Cortina in 1965. Monterey Car Week is the place to be for any automotive enthusiast and we will be covering all of the action next week.
