At the three hours of Monza the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of the Grasser Racing Team appeared to get the victory after dominating the competition. That was until the team was disqualified for an irregularity in the fueling tower restrictor.

The FIA International Court of Appeal has heard the case and has given the win back to the team’s number 19 car. This sets up what should be a good final round of the Blancpain Endurance Series to be run at the Nurburgring.

“We have always advocated our regularity and we were confident from the beginning in the successful outcome of our appeal. It’s like winning a second time, again the result of a great team effort,” says Giorgio Sanna, Head of Motorsport for Automobili Lamborghini.
