Dodge Challenger And Charger SRT Hellcat

Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat in Go Mango

Dodge Challengers and Chargers look great in vintage colors. The Challenger with its early ’70s inspired styling especially lends itself to colors that appeared first in the classic muscle car era.

These colors include “Plum Crazy” purple, “B5 Blue” and “Sublime” green. The bright hues help take the driver back to a simpler time when most folks just wanted a large powerful machine to enjoy without any other care of what that could be doing to the environment.

For 2016 Dodge is bringing back the “Go Mango” shade of reddish orange that originally was seen on the 1970 Challenger. More recently the modernized version of the color appeared in 2006 on specific Dodge Challenger R/T Daytona models. A version of the color also recently appeared on the Dodge Dart.

“Powerful performance cars like our Dodge Charger and Challenger demand high-impact colors,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Dodge muscle cars have a long history of unique paint colors with iconic names, and we’ll continue to reach back into our paint code archive to give our enthusiast customers what they want.”

Unfortunately, for people who want the color on their 2016 Challenger or Charger, but can’t afford an SRT model you’re out of luck (at least for now). The modernized version of “Go Mango” is only available on the 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT 392, Challenger SRT Hellcat, Charger SRT 392 and Charger SRT Hellcat models. Dealers are able to order the color as of now.
