The GT-R now offers 565 horsepower which is 20 horses more than the outgoing model. Inside you can now get Nappa leather, a revised front seat design, simplified switch layout and NissanConnectSM with Navigation, Mobile Apps and Services.
“As the standard bearer for great Japanese engineering and design, the GT-R has always remained true to its Japanese character. It symbolizes Nissan’s ability to set the agenda,” said Daniele Schillaci, Nissan’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “From the onset, GT-R has pushed the envelope by combining the class and refinement of Grand Touring vehicles with the power and precision of a racing car. This new 2017 GT-R refines the legend in a most powerful way.”
The Japanese sports car that rivals European machines gets a new V-motion grille which has been slightly enlarged to provide better engine cooling and now features a matte chrome finish and an updated mesh pattern. The hood features strong lines that flow from the grille and it has been reinforced to enhance stability during high speed driving. A new four-coat premium exterior paint, color called Blaze Metallic, is now available for the body color. The new GT-R will be available for purchase starting this summer.
