1915 American LaFrance Speedster
Clarion Events organizes one of the most successful classic car shows in the U.K. For those of us across the pond that is a little far to travel for such an event. Especially, when you have the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Amelia Island right in the US each year.
However, this year the Classic Auto Show is taking a trip to the States and will go all the way out west. The vintage cars will be on display from January 27th through the 29th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The cars on display are top notch examples of classic American and European vehicles. From early Cadillacs to Jaguars restored vehicles from many manufacturers will be on display. Event organizers claim that the show will have examples from all decades of automotive history.
Many local car clubs will have representatives present, including the Austin Healey Club of Southern California, International Thunderbird Club, Jaguar Owner’s Club of Los Angeles, Orange County Mustang Club, Road Kings of Burbank, and San Fernando Valley Model “A” Ford Club. Beyond these hundreds of other car club members will be on hand to answer your most complex questions about their favorite automotive brands.
Besides the cars there will also be plenty of automotive celebrities on hand. They will appear at the Celebrity Theater and will give some behind the scenes insight as well as photograph / autograph sessions. Personalities scheduled to appear include, Chip Foose, Mike Brewer and Wayne Carini. The Velocity TV network is a major sponsor of the car show, so it is no surprise that many of the stars from the network will be at the event.
Tickets are available at $25 for adults before the show, raising to $30 at the door. Children 3-12 cost $10 before the event and $12 during the event. Children under 2 are free. Our readers can use the promo code: CASPR to save $5 on tickets.
