Porsche 356 Speedster
We recently, announced a new column on this publication called “Reader’s Rides”. In each article, we will regularly be sharing a cool ride sent to us from one of our readers, allowing our community to get closer together.
Today we have this beautiful Porsche 356 Speedster.
Prices of all air-cooled Porsches have raised exponentially, which has lead to a number of replicas. The Porsche 355 Speedster is a very popular car to replicate as it has great classic lines, is rare and uses a fairly simple power train. Replicas are often powered by a Volkswagen air-cooled flat four. Many folks that build a replica will increase the power output making them faster than an original 356 Speedster.
This particular Porsche 356 Speedster was in the Cruisin’ Morro Bay Car Show. While most cars in the show are American made, this is one of the European beauties. We aren’t sure if it is a replica or an original (although we lean more one way), so scroll down to the comments and let us know if you think it is an original 356 Speedster or a Replica.
If you have a ride that you would like for us to share, send us a picture and you just may appear on our on-line publication. To submit your ride simply email a picture to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us about your ride. Our hope is to share a new ride each week (if we get enough submissions we will share one daily).
Now send us a picture of your pride and joy and then scroll down to the comments and let us know what you think of today’s ride.
