Porsche 996 Turbo

Porsche 996 Turbo

We recently, announced a new column on this publication called “Reader’s Rides”. In each article, we will be sharing a cool ride sent to us from one of our readers. The hope is that this will allowing our community to get closer together.

Today we have this 996 generation Porsche 911 Turbo.

The Porsche 911 Turbo (including the Turbo S) has been the top performing 911 (outside of the GT2) since it was first introduced in the 70’s. The addition of forced induction changes the rush of speed in the cars and has helped Porsche compete with the performance of more expensive Ferraris. As one Porsche executive recently said, as long as there is a Ferrari there will be a 911 Turbo.

This particular Porsche 911 Turbo is a 996 generation car. The twin-turbocharged sports car features a custom front bumper and a carbon fiber hood. The car does just look fast, it is fast. The car has been tuned with a modified exhaust system, bigger turbos and ECU upgrades.

If you have a ride that you would like for us to share, send us a picture and you just may appear on our on-line publication. To submit your ride simply email a picture to and tell us about your ride. Our hope is to share a new ride each week (if we get enough submissions we will share one daily).

Now send us a picture of your pride and joy and then scroll down to the comments and let us know what you think of today’s ride.
