Porsche Carrera GT Prototype

If you are an automotive enthusiast and you visit the Los Angeles area then a trip to the Petersen Museum is a must. The three story Museum (four if you count the basement vault) always displays historically significant vehicles from the past and present.

We recently enjoyed a trip to the museum and were treated with historical cars from the time we entered the parking garage. Some vintage vehicles were in parking spaces and a few cars, including an early Porsche 356, were on display just before entering the building.

Enter the door and before you pay for your tickets some historic Porsches greeted us. One of these was the iconic RUF Yellowbird.

We took this video of all the cars on display during our visit. These include movie cars, Japanese sports cars, American performance vehicles, early alternative fuel vehicles and a ton of Porsches.

If you are a fan of the Porsche marque this video shows the vehicles on display as part of the Porsche Effect exhibit. The Exhibit has been extended to run until April, so there is still time to see it before the cars head back to Germany.
