Porsche Boxster Spyder

We had heard that Porsche was working on a no nonsense Boxster that many were tagging as the Boxster GT4. An open-aired car wearing a GT4 badge was not to be, however a new type 981 Porsche Boxster Spyder is going to be made.

The new Spyder made its debut at the New York International Auto show and it looks stunning. The new car is more powerful, lighter and has a convertible top that is much easier to put on and take off than the type 987 Spyder.

2015 Chevy Camaro SS 1LE

2015 Chevy Camaro SS 1LE

The folks over at General Motors gave us a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS with the 1LE package (a.k.a track pack) to experience for a week. In driving the car we got a good idea of how it handled and put down the power.

We had already experienced the 2015 Mustang GT and Dodge Challenger lineup, so the Chevy was the American muscle car missing from our list. The last Camaro I rode in was a late ’80s car and it didn’t blow me away. I wanted to see just how far the Chevy had come and how it compared to the rest of the modern muscle cars from the rest of the big three.

The SS 1LE is not quite as aggressive or as powerful as the Z/28, but that doesn’t mean it can’t offer a lot of track fun. But unlike some track focused machines it behaves itself pretty well on the street.

Click past the jump to read more information about the Camaro SS with the 1LE package, including our video review and driving impressions of the car.
