Sebring Winning BMW 3.0 CSL
Previously, we told you about the BMW Art Car that would be at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance this past weekend. That car was truly amazing, but an even more historically significant car won best in class.
The class winner would be the above pictured BMW 3.0 CSL. What makes this car so special you might ask? Well in 1975 this particular car won the 12 Hours of Sebring.
It is fitting that it took the class win just one week from the next running of the 12 hour race at the famed track. Not only did it win its class but it nearly took the top prize at the Concours. It finished second overall, which is high praise for the race prepped German machine.
