The Ferrari 458 Italia
Many think that the styling of the Ferrari 458 Italia is the best styling by the Italian sports car maker in years. And no wonder as if you just look at the car you will see just how beautiful it is. The F430 that it replaced was a good car, but the styling of the 458 just stands out a more.
The mid-engined car is powered by a V8 engine that can rocket the car from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and keep going to a top speed of 202 mph. The car is so well sorted out and is a Ferrari that you can live with even on longer trips. Of course the best part is the music of the V8 and the awesome performance.
There are only two complaints with this car. The turning signals are on the steering wheel which makes them difficult to find if you are turning the wheel and the navigation map shows up in place of the speedometer if you need to use it. But those small flaws are quickly overlooked when you bury your right foot to the floor.
This video shows a review of the 458 and shows you just what makes it such a wonderful car. It shows the features that make it so desirable and has the wonderful sound of that V8 while driving.

These Ferrari Kennels Will Make Your Dog Feel Special
We all know people that have spoiled dogs, but if you visit the Ferrari Museum your best friend can feel superior to all other four legged animals. The museum has three specially designed dog kennels that are styled to look like a vintage Ferrari. This will be the only chance that your animal will get the chance to be in the cockpit of a vintage Italian machine.
The kennels are in the shaded part of the museum, so visitors hoping to see some wonderful cars can feel confident with leaving their furry friends. These Ferrari kennels are only available at the museum, but we are sure that we all know someone that would love to buy one for their home.
Let us know what you think of the kennels and if you would like one for your house in the comments below.
Have you ever seen dogs at the wheel of a Ferrari? No, no we’re not being facetious and this refers specifically to the quadriped variety – cat lovers lose out- generally regarded as man’s best friend. In fact, it’s to meet the needs of those who cannot bear to be separated for a moment from their four legged friends, that Maranello’s Ferrari Museum has just launched the perfect service: visitors with dogs will be able to leave their animals in guarded kennels in the shaded part of the museum garden, next to the cafeteria. You may ask what is so special about a service that is just a sign of courtesy and respect for our animal friends: well, at the moment there are only three kennels, of different sizes to match the animals they might house, but how many kennels have you seen that faithfully replicate some of the most classic cars produced in Maranello, conveniently modelled in the relevant style so that each temporary resident can experience what it’s like to be in the cockpit of a Ferrari!
Ferrari at the Italian GT Championship
Ferrari had a very good day in the Italian GT Championship. Both races of the day saw the Prancing Horse standing atop the podium. Race one went to the Black Bull Swisse Racing team and the second race went to the MP1 Corse team.
In both of the races they were able to beat out the BMW Z4, which was their closest competitor. The MP1 Corse team is currently sitting in second place in the points championship as the race for the championship starts to get more challenging as the season progresses.
The next race in the series is scheduled for July 21st and should be a good one.
Ferrari topped the podium in both of the two races today in the Italian GT championship, Race 1 victors were the Black Bull Swisse Racing team and Racing two was won by MP1 Corse. In both races the closest competition came from the BMW Z4.
In the first race of the day at Mugello it was the Black Bull Swisse Racing’s line up of Mirko Venturini and Tommaso Maino who took to the top step of the podium. It was a hard fought race that saw the Prancing Horse best the BMW by just 65 hundredths of a second. The MP1 Ferrari of Giuseppe Cirò and Gabriele Lancieri came home in fifth position and the Easy Race car of Francesco La Mazza and Stefano Pezzucchi came home in seventh.
In the second race of the day it was again a victory for the Ferrari 458 with the MP1 car of Cirò and Lancieri taking top honors again ahead of the BMW Z4. Mazza and Pezzucchi came home in fifth. The Black Bull Swisse Racing car could only manage eighth in race two despite a great early battle with the winners. Tyre problems were to ultimately prove their undoing.
The MP1 drivers now stand joint second in the championship.
The next race of the Italian GT championship takes place on the 21st July at Imola.
