The 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the latest rendition of the German performance car maker’s race car for the street. With specs of 520 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds flat, the GT3 RS is most at home on the track.
Now, it can also be driven on the road and will easily pass any slower traffic. Of course you’ll know the exact location of even the smallest crack or pebble on the road.
The McLaren 570S is the most affordable new super car that you can purchase from the British performance car maker available in our country. With a starting price of $188,600, it competes with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS that starts at $187,500.
From a price stand point just about a $1,000 separates the two, but is the McLaren actually a step up?
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is the fastest 911 that money can buy. It offers jaw dropping supercar performance and starts at just under $300,000.
That price isn’t cheap, but for a car that can lap the Nürburgring in just 6:47.25, it isn’t bad. To put this in perspective, the Porsche 918 Spyder lapped the same circuit in 6:57. That’s the same 918 Spyder that started at a bit under $1,000,000.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is the top of the line 911 model. With 700 horsepower on tap the race car for the street can lap the Nürburgring faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder.
To say it is fast is an understatement. The GT2 RS has a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine sitting in the back. The power plant is quite advanced and even uses water injection to keep things running smoothly at speed.
At Rennsport Reunion VI, Porsche has unveiled the limited edition Porsche 935. 77 of the clubsport vehicles that pay homage to the legendary 935/78 race car will be produced.
With such a small number of vehicles available how can someone that really wants one purchase one?
