Twitter is a great way to get the latest automotive news. But the key is finding the right accounts to follow so that your Twitter Feed isn’t loaded with a bunch of boring status updates. To help you find some interesting accounts to follow we have put together 5 accounts that any Porsche enthusiast should follow.

Some of these are Porsche only accounts and others are a bit more general, but all are great follows (and if you aren’t a twitter user or Porsche enthusiasts we’ll be posting future lists with other social networks and other marquees, so keep an eye out for that).

5. @FlatSixes

The FlatSixes.com Twitter account is all about Porsches. They cover the latest news as well as tips and events that interest enthusiasts.

4. @JeremyClarkson @RichardHammond and @MrJamesMay

If you like cars at all, then the the hosts of U.K. Top Gear are a must follow. For the Porschephile James May and Richard Hammond are pro the marquee and Jeremy Clarkson gives them a hard time. When they banter back and forth it makes for great entertainment.

3. @classicracepics

If you like racing then the Classic Race Pics account is a must follow. They post some great vintage photos, including classic Le Mans pictures of cars like the legendary Porsche 917.

2. @harrismonkey

Chris Harris is one of the top automotive journalists today. He also has a very good relationship with Porsche and even though he sold his 911 GT3 RS 4.0 for a Ferrari 599, he shares plenty of good Porsche information.

1. @Porsche

This is an obvious one, but if you are a Porsche enthusiast you should follow the company’s official Twitter account. They post a lot about the latest models, but also share racing updates and sometimes include updates about their classic models.

@TheSportsCarGuy is our official account and we share a good amount of Porsche updates at the account. We also share news on other makes and models and racing news. If you are on Twitter make sure to follow our main account.
