For many years old Japanese automobiles were not very valuable (with very few exceptions). Part of the issue is many early imports were not built as well as more recent vehicles.

The Fast and Furious movies changed all of that perception in 2001. Values of many Japanese performance cars have begun to raise in value, making them cars to look into as investments.

The Toyota Prius is known as a very economical vehicle. The hybrid offers about 130 horsepower, depending on the year, which doesn’t provide much acceleration; although, it can get pretty good gas mileage. Beyond that even the bit of acceleration that is available, most owners refuse to use because they want the most miles per gallon possible.

In many ways driving a Prius says you don’t care about cars at all. Sure you care about the environment, but not having any enjoyment in an automobile. But there is a build that changes all of that.
