Porsche Boxster S Versus BMW Z4

Porsche Boxster S Versus BMW Z4

Both the Porsche Boxster S (987) and BMW Z4 are fun to drive German roadsters. Both cars offer good performance and a wind in your hair experience.

The Boxster is a well balanced mid-engined sports car, but it is only available with a cloth top (unless you get the optional removable hardtop). The Z4 on the other hand is offered as a retractable hardtop for some additional security.

This video from Fifth Gear shows a test of the the two sports cars. The footage shows a handling test and then a track battle between the German machines.

On paper the Boxster S has a slight advantage, but things can get surprising in the real world. Watch the video and then let us know what you think of it in the comments.
